Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! Two of my best friends from Oklahoma City came and visited me this weekend for some much overdo friend time. We had a blast exploring and eating our way through T-town.
The first stop on the Tulsa tour was Dilly Diner. We ate breakfasts of waffles, cinnamon rolls as big as your face, and breakfast tacos, and I can’t forget their old fashion soda selection that we had to choose from. The interior design is one of my favorite parts. Every time I go I find a new nook of the restaurant that I love.
We also went to the Indie Trunk Show, which was the highlight of the day. It was the perfect size for a show like this and had such well curated booths. There was a little bit of everything, but every single booth was gorgeous and sold unique, hand made, and/or high quality items.
Another stop on the tour was a stroll down Boston to admire the art deco architecture and pretty downtown buildings and views.
We had to stop by Mod’s to grab an afternoon gelato to cool down. It was a hot day!
We stood around the Center of the Universe and took some cute pictures and tried to find where the echo was coming from (If you haven’t been, go!).
Then we walked to the Guthrie Green and happened up on the Festival Americas, which was very cool and entertaining.
If you followed my instagram stories on Saturday, you saw the beautiful horse that danced to one of the songs and some pretty costumes and outfits.
We ended the day at R Bar and Grill for dinner, where we ate way too much mac and cheese. ( ;
It was such a great weekend and was so fun to show off my favorites parts of Tulsa to good friends! Got to love the local shops, culture and food of Tulsa!
If you live here and haven’t been to some of the places I highlighted, check it out! You won’t be dissapointed!
