Weekend Recap: OKC

Posted on Posted in Life Musings

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! This weekend, we celebrated my dad’s belated birthday in Oklahoma City.

I decided to head to OKC on Friday so that I could work from our office in Edmond. Our team is growing like mad, so it’s nice to go up and get to know everyone better. We also went on a tour of our printer, which was a total nerd-out session for me and our other designer.

Friday night, we went with my brother and sister-in-law to check out Fassler Hall and Dustbowl Lanes in Midtown OKC. Tulsa actually has the original ones, so it was cool to see how they changed them up while keeping the basic concept the same. They were both really modern, and much larger that Tulsa’s.

On the way to Fassler’s we walked by the cutest stationary store, that is on my list to go back to the next time I’m downtown.

The skyline = the Devon tower from Fassler Hall. The lighting was so dark, the pictures we took at Fassler’s didn’t turn out. ) :

Saturday we spent some time in the sun at my parents pool and celebrated my dad and our family friend’s birthdays.

And Piper reluctantly learned how to swim.

The cake was from Nothing Bundt cake, who did a wonderful job and styled the cake so pretty! I loved the paper pendent flags!

Hope you had a great weekend and have a wonderful start of your week!
