The past two months was spent renoing our bedroom, and we still have a few things left on our list to complete. If you missed the moodboard and our plans, be sure to check out that post here or you’ll ruin the 2 month build-up! ( ;
So our plan for our master was to put our own touch to it and make it feel more like a retreat. I wanted to play with textures, whites and neutrals, with a pop of bold color. And I wanted it to be a room that we go to sleep feeling comfortable and wake up feeling refreshed in. And we definitely accomplished both of these things.
Below are our list of to-do’s, including the few things we have yet to complete.
New king mattress New upholstered bed-frame King sheets, and all new bedding Paint room, trim, and doors Switch out art
- Frame out windows
- Wood beam – we aren’t sure we’ll be doing this anymore, but it’s still on the list while we do more thinking
- Install new swing arm lamps on either side of bed

In the next few weeks, I’m going to be highlighting each of our purchases with our review of why we narrowed it down to the purchase we made and how we have liked it so far.
