Behind the Print: Let’s go on an adventure

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

One of the prints currently in my etsy shop is the “Let’s go on an adventure” print. This print was inspired by my summer study abroad in Europe while I was in college. Even though the plane ride was rough, it was worth it for all the adventuring and experiencing we did! I will never forget those memories.

I have been extremely blessed to be able to travel and experience different cities, cultures and adventures. Every city is different, with it’s own culture, food, people and attractions. It’s like entering another realm of possibilities when you cross that state line or step foot in another country.

My hope is that when you see this print, it will bring back memories of sandy beaches, camping trip s’mores, sunrise hikes, gelato filled days, and extravagant museums. I hope that it will also encourage future travels and adventures, whether that be exploring the nooks and crannies of your own city, or adventuring somewhere far.

This print is hanging in my office, and every time I see it, I think of seeing Les Miserables in London, of eating way too much gelato in Vienna and Italy, of biking through the streets of Amsterdam, of walking amazed through the Louvre, the Vatican, and the cathedrals.
